I recently spent some time at ADX Sydney, a dental exhibition buzzing with the latest clinical innovations, equipment, and technology. It was a great experience to see just how quickly dental technology is evolving. One of the most enjoyable moments was getting to taste the newest flavours of tooth mousse and they are surprisingly delicious! I also took the opportunity to attend a workshop to keep my skill up to date, and later took a break to enjoy a refreshing mocktail in the lounge. The best part of the day was I ran into so many former schoolmates and colleagues. It was wonderful to catch up and hear where everyone has ended up since graduation. I came back to the clinic feeling recharged and inspired.

In March, I attended the ADX Dental event. It was exciting to be there as I was looking to purchase a new loupes. These are microscopic glasses that are essential to my work as an Oral Health Therapist. Leesa, our trusty all-rounder gave me a map of the trade hall to navigate to all the supplier. This made it much easier and efficient as there were over 200 different stalls. I also ran into few friends I hadn’t seen since graduating. My work colleague Cienna also come after work from Newcastle and we all enjoyed some mocktails together and had a great time exploring the latest dental products in the event. I spent about half day there, and I am so happy that I found a set of loupes at the end. I’m really looking forward to receiving them and excited to put them to good use.
